a heart's murmur

today is my first day of work and i can pretty much say that life is gna be so much busy for me after i start taking over my colleague's work. Just today, my brain is stuffed with too much information from how the treasury operates in Singapore and break up into different categories with each playing a different but very important role to the procedures for FX, FD, loans and banking instructions.

All this are making me so confused. Totally no time to capture and take notes of what my manager said. But I guess i will only comprehend after i start doing hands-on. My jobscope seems pretty interesting and refreshing for a change from all my previous jobs. Looking forward to learn more from this job! :)

and i'm so glad i have very nice colleagues who are helpful and friendly. it's even a gem to find colleagues who you can communicate with and no generation gap. i guess all this make up for the early morning rise and long trip to work. having to wake up at 6am is no joke, i dno how long before i will fall back to my lazy bone. lol. but then again, knocking off at 5pm and not having to squeeze with the crowd is ultimate bliss. :)

Aglio Olio.

i find it too garlicky for my taste. The receipe calls for 5 cloves of garlic but i actually cut it down to 3 and still feel abit too strong.

but it taste pretty good with the meatball sauce my sis made .
my mum actually loves it and finished it up. :)

it will taste better if it's not too sweet.

i tink we are officially addicted to cooking and baking. not that we haven been baking but it has become much more frequent. Especially my elder sis, totally hooked onto baking. She will bake whenever she's free. Last weekend, we made chocolate cupcakes with heart shaped sprinklers while staying at her house. it looked pleasant and tasted good as well :)

I still had a list of receipes that i wanna try out! cant wait to get started! but that, i can only leave it during the weekends. Probably i will bake it this weekend! for the pinic this sunday!! :)

With a FT job now, i can no longer bake whenever i feel like it. i'm not complaining though. I wanna get my pay soon and fund for my wants!!! HEEHEE.
