1. CANON POWERSHOT S90!

after reading up Xiaxue's post on this camera and researching online, i had this impulse of getting it! lol.

Have decided to drop the idea of owning a DSLR due to several reasons.

1. carrying such heavy and bulky item everywhere i go can be so tiring. imagine, going out on a night with girlfriends and all dolled up then still have to lug a DSLR on your shoulder, tak-glam la. LOL.

2. it is a four digit sum of money which i finally figured can be put to better use, like going on a overseas trip, getting new clothes, buy a designer bag (HAHAHA!)

3. i'm not gonna use it as a profession so no use buying it and regret later.

4. the functions are so complicated, i think it will take me ages to master it.

5. U don't actually buy a DSLR and expect it to work just like the professional photographers who produces amazing photos like what you see on the mags and photoshoot. Usually, they uses different lenses which have to be bought separately to get such fantastic images. So better to think twice of the hidden costs involved.

6. you will need a dry cabinet to store your gear, camera bag and cleaning equipment. Too much of a hassle in my opinion.

6 good reasons why i should not get a DSLR.

Yup, so all in all, semi-pro does the trick for me now. since it functions comes almost like the DSLR and produces quality alike of DSLR. :)

i supposed you guys already know about the leaked details of this much raved about piece of technology.

For those who stayed in the cave and have no idea what a iphone is (pun intended), you can read it all up here! :D

AND YOU KNOW WHAT, I'M SO GNA GET IT AFTER MY CONTRACT ENDS. ERM I MEAN MY DAD'S PLAN. HAHA. exploitation much i know, but his actually cost lesser to get than mine. And by that, i meant ALOT.


And i'm gna go change my plan to accomodate my data roaming so i can surf whenever i go! awesome much. i know i owned a iphone 3G and for this one and a half yr, i'm surviving on wifi and my internet at home. i don't need you to tell me that having a smartphone w/o a data plan is as good as bringing your wallet out without cash/credit cards - USELESS. but call me a procrastinator or what, i'm just plain lazy and lack the MOTIVATION to actually get it done.

And with the new data plan tag along to my mobile line, i can actually google maps, surf fb, check emails, twitter, look for the nearest shopping malls, good dining restaurants and practically doing whatever you can name of, on the go, anytime, anywhere without having to look for a wireless spot. you know how it sounds so silly when i actually have to say "eh, let me see if there's wireless here" whenever i tried to search something online that actually requires internet connectivity.

What's new

• Front-facing video chat camera

Like finally!! my sis is so happy about it! Apple actually hears what their customers wants!

• Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
• Camera flash
• Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
• Improved display. It's unclear if it's the 960x640 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the "Connect to iTunes" screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
• What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
• Split buttons for volume
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic

What's changed

• The back is entirely flat, made of either glass (more likely) or ceramic or shiny plastic in order for the cell signal to poke through. Tapping on the back makes a more hollow and higher pitched sound compared to tapping on the glass on the front/screen, but that could just be the orientation of components inside making for a different sound

Seems to me it's trying to be the next Blackberry. in terms of its design at the back. I still prefer the curved back though.

I hope the larger battery means extended battery life if not it will be so useless to make it bigger and heavier.

Totally awesome specifications! you know, i'm always so impressed by Apple and they never fails to amaze us with their revolutionary technologies! That's why i'm such a apple fan now. HAHA.
