i'm weird, but i hate to say goodbye

this is one of the most heartwarming and awesome video i have ever seen!

i nearly wept, okay i admit this got me and my eyes watered when i watched this.

But really, who doesn't upon seeing such a wonderful bond formed between the humans and the animal.

Ace Bourke & John Rendall bought the cub and named him Christian (purchase of such animals were still not illegal in those days), seeing how lonely he was caged up and raised him up like how we will do to our dogs and cats. But soon they realised that his growing size and the cost to care for him is too heavy for them to keep it at home so they decided to put him to the wild at George Adamson, a Kenyan conservationist's compound in the Kora National reserve.

Despite separated for a year and Adam's word of advice that Christian might have completely forgotten about them and will pose a serious threat to them, they still went ahead to Africa to visit him. And I'm amazed that Christian, still remember them.

This could be the moment of life and death to the both of them, seeing that Christian is now completely wild and might not have any recollection of the life he shared with the both of them previously.

And for that sec when i saw Christian running to them, there came across my mind if Christian, like what Adam had said, has already forgotten them and was going to attack them.

Ohh and there i saw it, the brief moment of recognition on Christian' face before he went running to his human friends, so elated to see them and leaping up on them, placing his front legs on their shoulders and nuzzling their faces. But he might not know that he is now twice the size as before and his giant paws might actually hurt them. LOL.

This scene is just like how your dog happily welcomes you home, wagging his tail and jumping up on you, not realising that their nails actually leave scratches on your legs.

The love and friendship they shared have even rubbed on to the other lions.

When that year had passed, Tony and John came to Africa to see Christian. After a year of struggle, tragedies, and life with a pride of lions in the wild, the relationship Christian felt with Tony and John was as strong as it had always been. In fact, Christian's wonderful relationship with Tony and John caused the other lions in the pride to accept and be at peace with them as well.

A moment of twist and magic and sets me thinking. Why would anyone bear to kill such lovely animals? If those hunters could be like John and Ace, wouldn't it makes the world a better place to live in? No killings animals for their furs, skins, horns and other parts of the animal bodies which will help them fetch a high price.

i always believe that if you treat animals with real love and tender, even the most ferocious beasts will still reciprocate the love you showered him. And that is why it has always been my dream to help the animals out there.
